LOSS & LOST in LOVE
The songs tell of unexplained loss (Sandro), the loss of childhood dreams (Play As I Play), and the loss of a faithful companion (Howl at the Night), but also of the fullness of love (Hold You Everyday, & Lay Down with Me), a life shared (This One’s A Sea), and the sweetness of love through the tender eyes and warm heart of a devoted father (Let’s Find the Moon.)

Find the Moon and all of Steve’s songs tell the story of one person’s experience with life and the human condition.

About the CD

After decades of writing and performing, Steve took time to focus on recording. He met John Kurgan of Hungry Goat Studios and The Amazing Incredibles. John and Steve had an immediate connection, and started sorting through Steve’s repertoire, and charting the course of the recording.

They chose 11 songs, 10 written by Steve, and one co-written with award winning songwriter, Patti Witten. While Steve played many of the instruments, he also enlisted members of former bands, including Bo Child on mandolin; Adam Krass on violin; Eric Plotkin on bass; Guy DeRosa on harmonica; Bill Hemberger on drums; Mimi Cross and Jessie Holladay on harmony vocals; and John Kurgan on countless instruments.
